The Doctoral School of Science and Natural Sciences (SDNŚiP) at the University of Gdansk brings together doctoral students from the following disciplines:
- mathematics
- biological sciences
- chemical sciences
- physical sciences
- Earth and environmental sciences
PhD students at SDNŚiP will be supervised by independent researchers whose first place of employment is the University of Gdańsk. Classes at SDNŚiP will be conducted by UG academics and invited guests from leading centres in Poland and abroad. These classes will be held mainly in the teaching infrastructure of the Faculties representing the scientific disciplines represented by the School. The framework education programme will enable PhD students to obtain the knowledge and skills necessary for their future professional careers. In accordance with the idea of the Doctoral Schools' functioning, the implementation of the education programme provides an opportunity to acquire competences necessary for conducting scientific research and teaching students.
