Seminar Overview:
This seminar will delve into the critical aspects of power sample analysis and sample size determination. These topics are of utmost importance in conducting robust and meaningful research studies. By the end of the session, participants will be equipped with the skills to compute the appropriate sample size considering various factors, such as effect size, error rates, and other relevant characteristics. Statistical software G*power and R will be used throughout the seminar.

Dr Lubor Homolka works at the Department of Statistics and Quantitative Methods. His research focuses on uncertainty modelling, behavioral economics and retirement planning. He lectures post-graduate course Research Methodology and graduate courses: Econometrics, Risk Management and Behavioral Economics.
