The Dean of the Intercollegiate Faculty of Biotechnology of University of Gdansk and Medical University of Gdansk announces the application commencement to the UGrants – START programme for the funding of research projects of PhD students of the Intercollegiate Biotechnology Doctoral School of UG and MUG. The Baltic University Programme (BUP) and the University of Gdansk proudly present Science by the Coast, a winter school held at Hel Marine Station, focusing on coastal and marine development in the Baltic Sea Region.

The winter school will take place from 2-6 February 2026 in Hel, Poland. Accepted students and PhD students will study the sensitive Baltic Sea environment and coastal development along the Baltic Sea coast in Poland.

The Natural Science Baltic Conference (NSBC) is a continuation and extension of the Baltic Chemistry Conference. This year, scientists from the fields of chemistry, biology and physics will have the opportunity to present their results. As an international forum, NSBC invites all interested people from around the world to engage in interdisciplinary dialogue, supporting cooperation between different scientific disciplines.
The goal of the NSBC, organized by students and PhD students of the University of Gdańsk, is to create an opportunity to present scientific achievements and exchange their experiences. Each registered participant will receive a certificate confirming participation in the conference, which is free of charge. NSBC will be held online via the Microsoft Teams application.
