“Internationalisation of Doctoral Schools in the University of Gdańsk” Project

Dear PhD Students!

as part of the “Internationalisation of Doctoral Schools in the University of Gdańsk” Project (project/agreement number: BPI/STE/2023/1/00017/DEC/01 of 19 of October 2023, abbreviated: "INTER-DOC", task 2 – "Support of the Polish and foreign students’ international mobility – international internship”), financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) as part of the “STER – Internationalisation of Doctoral Schools" Project.

We are launching a programme of support of the Polish and foreign students’ international mobility of our doctoral school students (international internships).

As part of the competition we offer 30 travel scholarships supporting one-month-long international internships (DSNS – 13 internships, DSHSS – 12 internships, IBDS – 5 internships). All Internships covered by the support must begin no sooner than Semtember 1, 2024 and be concluded no later than November 30, 2024.

Competition applications may be submitted by all the UG doctoral school students, subject to provisions of the regulations. Timeframe for application submission is 13.06.2024 – 10.07.2024. Applications will be collected in hardcopies (printed version) in the doctoral schools office (Faculty of Chemistry, room F220). The office does not verify the documents in terms of their completion and accuracy. Competition results will be announced on July 17, 2024. Competition application form can be found below.

Participation in the competition equals participation in the project. Rules of project participation are specified by the Regulations of the international internship programme (attached below).

Apart from the application intself, an applicant is obligated to submit the documents related to project participation, which the Regulations of the international internship programme specify (data protection statements attached below).

Viadrina International Program

Announcing that the VIP-Program is welcoming applications from doctoral students for the 2024 fellowship. The European University Viadrina funds a short-stay program for a minimum duration of a month.
 
Key objectives are to strengthen academic exchange, engage in research and teaching projects, and provide a platform for international networks in the field of academia. Research at the European University Viadrina is characterized by a diversity of study fields. Thanks to its international approach, the university attracts academics from around the world. These fellowships allow international doctoral candidates to get in touch with our professors for research or research cooperations in a variety of fields. These partnerships have yielded personal relationships and networks at every stage of an academic career. Craft your PhD thesis journey with our dedicated professors and specialized networks.

International doctoral candidates may apply for research stays in 2024 to get acquainted with the research environment at the European University Viadrina.
Important programm details:
•    Fellowships for research stays at the European University Viadrina for 1 to 3 month
•    The application deadline is May 20th, 2024 (23:59 CET).
•    Due to the administrative processing time of funding, entry to the fellowship is not possible after June 30th, 2024.

Academically committed doctoral candidates from all disciplines who are admitted to a state or state-recognized university for doctoral studies are eligible to apply for this fellowship program at the European University Viadrina.

BUP Science and Sail 2024

The Baltic University Programme (BUP) and Klaipėda University, proudly present BUP Science and Sail 2024, a summer school with the focus on the Baltic Sea Environment.

The summer school will take place between 4-11 August in Klaipėda, Lithuania and the waters of the Baltic Sea. Accepted students will be studying the sensitive Baltic Sea Environment, both on land and at sea with leading experts from across the region.

The Doctoral School of Wroclaw University of Economics and Business (WUEB) is pleased to invite join the next International Doctoral Seminar.
 
ATTENTION!
 
We are looking for presenters – PHD students or young sciencists – who would like to share presentation on topics related to:
•    artificial intelligence;
•    information technology;
•    data science;
•    machine learning.


We expect 10-15 minutes long presentations which will be followed by 10-15 minutes of discussion.

Objectives of seminars:
•    presentation of doctoral students' research;
