Informative meeting for applicants

Dear Candidates,
on May 7th, 2024 (Tuesday) between 13.00 and 14.00 there will be a meeting for the applicants to the Doctoral School of Humanities and Social Sciences of UG regardin the enrolment for the academic year 2024/2025. The meeting will be held online via the MS Teams platform.

Natural Science Baltic Conference

The Natural Science Baltic Conference (NSBC) is a continuation and extension of the Baltic Chemistry Conference. This year, scientists from the fields of chemistry, biology and physics will have the opportunity to present their results. As an international forum, NSBC invites all interested people from around the world to engage in interdisciplinary dialogue, supporting cooperation between different scientific disciplines.

The aim of the NSBC, organized by students and PhD students of the University of Gdańsk, is to create an opportunity to present scientific achievements and exchange their experiences. Each registered participant will receive a certificate confirming participation in the conference, which is free of charge. NSBC will be held online via the Microsoft Teams application.

Registration: February 15 - March 22, 2024

Video Submission for Posters/Presentations: March 29, 2024

Conference Schedule: April 7-14, 2024

Conference Online: April 20-21, 2024

NSBC offers Presentation Sessions for speakers to share their research via pre-recorded or live videos, followed by interactive Q&A sessions. Additionally, the conference features a Poster Session, allowing presenters to showcase their work through video posters and engage in online discussions.

The Vice-Rector for Accreditation and International Cooperation of the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business Prof. Bogusława Drelich-Skulska and the Dean of the Doctoral School of the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business Prof. Czesław Zając are pleased to invite doctoral students to participate in the next meeting in the series of International Doctoral Seminars organized by Doctoral School of Wroclaw University of Economics and Business, which will take place on-line on the Teams platform on March 13, 2024 at 16.00.  

Theme of the seminar: “Responsibility in economics, finance and management research”.

SEA-EU Call for student-led projects

SEA-EU Call for student-led projects

Are you a Bachelor, Master or PhD students with an innovative idea for strengthening student collaboration across Europe? Are you keen to help shape the future of European education from a student point of view? The SEA-EU Alliance has now opened a call for proposals for student-led projects that aim to improve education and strengthen student collaboration among the SEA-EU partner universities. Successful projects will receive up to 4000 Euros.

The aim of the call is to encourage students to identify original solutions to societal challenges in the following topics:
•    Inclusion, diversity and gender equality
•    Sustainability and climate equity
•    Multilingualism and plurality
•    Digitalisation and digital forms of collaborations
•    Social entrepreneurship and positive impact on the community/society.

Projects must be carried out in collaboration with at least 1 student from at least 1 of the other eight SEA-EU partner universities. Additionally, each team must be supported by a supervisor who is an employee of the University of Gdańsk. To find project partners from other universities you can fill in the project matching form.

Students interested in the call are invited to attend a webinar on February 23rd or online consultations on February 26th. Link to the meetings.
